Yes, I moved the site

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

Well, at least I moved NNR. It’s all part of a major push in how B Studios will be managed and how NNR will be my personal (professional) site. So that means this will get a different design, and I’ll tweak around B Studios’ existing design.

In other news, the summer’s here, and it’ll be a busy one for me. Much of my time will be spent between work, B Studios, my conference idea planned mentioned in another post, idre.am, several Barcamps (including organizing BarCampSA, and participating in ProductCamp Austin and BarCampHouston3), and of course, AIR San Antonio, and numerous other regular events like Netsquared, sleeping, a vacation, and my rogue lifestyle in a tucked-away bedroom community on the northside of Houston. No reason to stop posting on NNR, but of course, I will be out and about for some time.

Get Equipped with NetSquared

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

Once in awhile I’ll get things done in Houston. I know I’m pretty well known for my detest of it, but I figure since I spend (or try to spend) 5 days a week here, I might as well rock something in Houston.

For those of you not in Houston (or California), NetSquared is a gathering of people learning about information for nonprofit organizations. Given this is one of my important policies to move in San Antonio, what better thing to do than learn from the close network of Houstonians (tech people and more) listening to nonprofit-minded, business-minded folks. It was started by Ed Schipul of (surprisingly) Schipul Technologies and continued by other Schipulites. It’s also got some Pop Laboratorists(?), former and current, ready to get involved.

It meets once a month on a Tuesday, so if you’re around, you can be sure to make it. But if you’re not, and you’re in San Antonio, I’m pretty sure you know where I’ll go with this…
