About Neon Night-Rider
“What is Neon Night-Rider?” you ask. The name itself is not a reference to an 80s action show, unless by “80s action show” you mean “based on a cartoon and comic series created in the 80s.” The name is from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time for Super Nintendo (and it also has a Sega Genesis and Arcade counterpart), and it is the second-to-last stage before defeating the evil Shredder. It’s my favorite stage in the game, and it’s also a “bonus” level of sorts. I talked about it heavily in my Junior year of high school (some 10 years after the game’s release), and I decided to bring it back.

Me at Barcamp San Antonio
That’s pretty much it on the name. As for me, I am Donald Wilcox, a front-end web developer and accessibility and usability enthusiast. I do enjoy backend development as well, and among languages and frameworks, I’ve learned PHP, Python, Ruby, as well as Django and Ruby on Rails, the latter used in my most recent project idre.am, a social dream interpretation site (in other words, dream something, share it with the web, and let users respond to your dreams). I’m very aggressive when it comes to learning new things and being involved in things to keep myself interested and up-to-speed. I also provide accessibility consulting services and play with different CMS, operating systems (Linux for the win), and video games.
