Situations putting a slow-down on plans

So that means I won’t be doing a recap on BCSA, which was last week. I already did one on the blog, so in the midst of hurricane-induced discomfort, you’ll have to excuse me on this one.

In other news, as you could imagine, I left Houston to San Antonio, with much support from people there. I won’t get too into the negative, but the aftermath and talking to people who stayed behind was more than enough ammunition to leave Houston for good. That’s not quite an announcement yet (although some already know of this plan), but for the past two months I have considered moving to San Antonio in the next few months. It’s just the better place for me. The hurricane didn’t do much except push me in the direction I was going in. Some of you may remember that I’ve had this similar dilemma three years ago during Hurricane Katrina, and I ultimately decided to move to Houston for particular reasons. I feel I have fulfilled my goals, and it’s time to seriously phase out my move.

The only opinion I’m willing to consider on the decision is my own, but any words of encouragement or support is definitely appreciated. I’ll be working on various things until I know exactly how things are for me on my side of Houston (which isn’t to the west) and can return.

But above all, I’m glad to get the support I’ve gotten during this time, and I will definitely keep looking up.

Can I look around?

Who am I?

A guy who doesn't quite know how to describe himself. He can't really take a day off, even for himself (but he tries).

He's creative, entrepreneurial, involved, but also an open critic on business, the "corporate culture," general tedium, driving, and Houston.

Alternately, he's for new ideas, San Antonio, and plenty of other stuff.
